As an NBC Connecticut News Intern, I developed skills in all areas of the newsroom. While in the field, I wrote and edited packages alongside the reporters I shadowed. I helped write several anchor readers as well as developed news stories for the producers. As an assistant on the assignment desk, I worked to set up interviews in the community for reporters. Finally, I performed initial research on various upcoming projects for the investigative team.
